The Larry Heard Deep House Experience - Part One

Larry Heard is an unquestioned pioneer of house music, affectionately known as the 'Godfather Of Deep House'. He went by many aliases, most notably as Mr. Fingers. His classic, Can You Feel It, in 1986, was the first of it's kind. Deep House was thus born, and it was all uphill from there.

Larry has recorded many albums over the years. They are all fantastic.

And he often did his own vocals on his songs too, and remixed numerous tracks of other artists as well. Unfortunately, he hung up the headphones a few years back due to hearing loss. But his legend lives on!

This will be a two part tribute to Larry and his music. I would do a third, but Mixcloud copyright restrictions may make that difficult.

Larry is unmatched when it comes to the deep house genre. He is a king among men!
